Every Rider is Asymmetrical
We all engage in habitual movement patterns, from sliding in and out of the driver’s seat to mounting on the left.
Most of us have old injuries and lingering compensations.
Even our organs are weighted more heavily on the right sides of our bodies!
Generally speaking, humans can get away with some asymmetry in day-to-day life, but we equestrians have to thin about our horses’ comfort, too.
Even hours of expensive bodywork and professional training can’t overcome the impact of an uneven rider on her horse’s physique.
Fortunately, change is possible.
In just 75 minutes a week, you can improve your rider symmetry, balance, and core strength for your best-ever summer in the saddle.

During the 6-Week Strong in the Saddle Challenge, you will:
Balance your riding with core and symmetry exercises curated specifically for equestrians, by an equestrian.
Make maximum progress in minimum time with just three 25-minute workouts per week.

Meet Your Trainer
Hi! I’m Tamara Baysinger, creator of The Sweaty Equestrian.
I’m an endurance rider, NASM-certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, and corrective exercise specialist based in the northwest corner of the United States.
I help horsewomen from all over the world get fit to ride stronger in a day and longer in their lives.
I hope you’ll join me for this Stable in the Saddle Challenge.
It’s a lighthearted competition with serious results for busy horsewomen looking to stay active and improve their riding over the summer.

Frequently asked questions
All workouts in the Stable in the Saddle Challenge are designed to be done at home with minimal equipment.
You’ll need resistance bands (loop style with removable handles and door anchor) and a yoga mat (optional).
Your challenge quick-start guide includes a shopping list with links to each item, so it’s easy to get exactly what you need.
Stable in the Saddle is a time-crunch challenge designed to complement your busy summer schedule.
You’ll do three, 25-minute workouts per week for a total of 75 minutes, plus optional extended warm-ups (about 10 minutes each) if you prefer.
You’ll also get to compete for points on the Sweaty Summer Scorecard by staying active with your favorite summer adventures both on and off your horse. This is optional, but fun!
Absolutely! All of the workout videos are follow-along style with the minimal, home-based equipment listed above.
I’ll coach you through every exercise, plus harder and easier versions to suit your individual level.
Joining just the 2026 Stable in the Saddle Challenge gives you access from June 1, 2026, through the make-up window that ends July 22, 2026.
If you decide to become a TSE Member, you’ll get to participate in the Stable in the Saddle Challenge during the 2026 challenge dates. You’ll also have online access to the full, 12-week Stable in the Saddle fitness program (plus all other membership benefits) as long as your membership is active.
The Sweaty Equestrian membership is $55 per month, $138 per quarter, or $228 for 6 months.
You’ll get access to the extended Stable in the Saddle program even after the 2026 challenge ends, for as long as you remain a member. You’ll also get direct Q&A email access to me, monthly group coaching calls, a supportive crew of fellow horsewomen in our private Facebook community, additional group challenges for fun and motivation, plus my comprehensive Essential Equestrian Fitness program, my Leaner Stronger Rider program, and more.
The Sweaty Equestrian’s challenges and membership are especially for women. Most participants do ride, and we talk about rider-specific fitness, but family and friends of horsewomen have found great success with The Sweaty Equestrian as well. You’re welcome to join us!
