Reviews by The Sweaty Equestrian

GutX by 100X Equine – Gut X is an inexpensive horse ulcer supplement purported to cure and prevent equine gastric ulcers. But does this alternative to omeprazole for horses actually work? Here’s what I’ve learned about Gut X and other supplements for horses with ulcers. Read the full review.

Visceral+ by Mad Barn – Visceral+ is a natural horse ulcer supplement that uses research-backed nutraceuticals and pre- and probiotics to support natural healing mechanisms in the horse’s stomach and hindgut. Here’s my interview about it with an equine nutritionist.

Downunder Horsemanship Method – The horse world loves to love Clinton Anderson, and it loves to hate him more. But this post isn’t about his personality. It’s about his Downunder Horsemanship training method…good, bad, or “it depends”? Read the full review.

  1. I want to hear about the habit journaling!! Also, any book recs? Atomic Habits seems to be huge – have you read it? I’ve considered it but haven’t done so yet.

Coming soon! It has been surprisingly useful — I’m thinking of expanding. I’ll ponder books. I haven’t read Atomic Habits yet (it’s on my list), but I’ve listened to a handful of podcasts on which he was a guest, and found his ideas interesting. Peter Attia had a good one recently: https://peterattiamd.com/jamesclear/
